How to eat in a bowl: How to make a healthy salad with an ice cream parfait

When it comes to eating out, I have to say that I prefer a bowl to a plate.

A bowl is nice and big and the dishwasher is more fun.

I don’t need to be bombarded with toppings or dishes, I just want a bowl that’s easy to eat. 

I have to admit that this was a big decision for me.

I have a hard time ordering from a restaurant when there are so many options to choose from. 

If I had to pick, I would say a bowl would probably be a better choice for me as it’s the simplest way to eat out. 

The beauty of a bowl is that you don’t have to worry about having to wash dishes in a dishwasher, as it will come right off and be a perfect meal for you.

I like that a bowl doesn’t come out of the kitchen looking like it has been used for cooking. 

Here’s how to make an ice-cream parfitter bowl.

Ingredients 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup almond flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/3 cup ice cream 1/8 cup water (see notes below) 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/16 teaspoon ground ginger 1/32 teaspoon salt Instructions Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Place 1 cup of the sugar and almond flour into a large bowl and mix with the other ingredients.

Pour the mixture into the bowl and pour the remaining ingredients into the bowls. 

Place a spoonful of the batter on top of the bowls and fill them to the top with ice cream.

Top with a spoonfull of the lemon juice. 

Top the bowls with a third spoonful and finish with a fork.

Let the bowls sit in the oven for 20-25 minutes. 

You can serve the bowls right out of your fridge and reheat them later.

If you have leftover batter, you can also use it to make jelly rolls, or make other fruit-based desserts. Enjoy!
