A Scottish-owned and operated business has opened in Dublin as part of a new drive to revitalise the Dublin Bay area.
A food court is also being installed on the site, which is near the edge of the city.
There are also plans for an expanded outdoor cafe and a new pub and restaurant.
In the north of Ireland, the opening of the new Denny’s outlet in County Clare has been hailed as a success, as well as the opening in Cork of a small coffee shop.
In the south, the new Irish Coffee Mart in Waterford, which was set up by a Dublin company, has also been lauded as a sign of how well Dublin has become for coffee.
The new business will also have a food court and a cafe to complement the existing business.
Denny’s opened its first outlet in Dublin’s Cork area in 2012, and has since expanded to a number of other parts of the country.
In recent years, the shop has expanded into other parts and even opened a second location in Dublin.
