A brand new geek kitchenware store in India has opened in London’s City Centre and the brand is headed by two former employees.
The brand, called Geek Kitchen, has been set up by two British expats, James and David, who said they are working to build their brand and brand loyalty.
The new store is set to open in October, and is a joint venture between Geek Kitchen and UK-based brands, and will offer a wide range of geek kitchen accessories and other geek essentials.
The first store was opened in December 2017 in Covent Garden, London.
A new geek-themed store is being planned for a larger space in London soon.
This new Geek Kitchen is headed up by the founders of British-based Geek Kitchen brand.
Its new shop in the City Centre of London is set for opening in October 2018, with a grand opening planned for October 2021.
It has also been revealed that the brand has raised over £1 million ($1.2 million) in crowdfunding through a crowdfunding campaign.
While James and Dave were initially in search of a brand identity, their entrepreneurial drive and commitment to their mission lead them to the new shop.
“We started out with a vision of creating geeky geeky items that would inspire people to go to geeky places and make geeky friends,” they said.
“We realised that if we can build the brand and connect with people in geek communities around the world, then we can do this ourselves.”
The brand aims to provide a fun and welcoming environment for everyone to come together and be geek.
“The Geek Kitchen team have been a huge inspiration for us as we’ve come up with a range of exciting ideas that have the potential to change the way geek culture works,” said James.
“We’ve been able to take a little bit of inspiration from the past and create a brand that’s accessible and affordable.”
